Do you know these vote by mail facts?
You can still vote in person, even if you request your mail-in ballot. I know most Republicans don’t like vote-by-mail and would rather vote in person, but I am asking everyone to just request your mail-in ballot for 4 very important reasons, even if you don’t plan to use it.
—> 1) If you have your mail-in ballot, no one else does! You can still vote in person!
—> 2) If you have your mail-in ballot, you can encourage other Republicans to get theirs by saying you have yours.
—> 3) If you have your mail in-ballot, you can free up valuable resources the Republican Party is using asking you over and over again to get it. We know when you’ve requested it, and will stop reaching out to you once you have done so.
—> 4) If you have your mail-in ballot, you can use it if you can’t vote in person because of a hurricane, illness or other emergency.
Here’s an example of why vote-by-mail is so important. As last week in Palm Beach County Commission District 5, there were 29,142 Democrat vote-by-mail requests and only 9,963 Republican vote-by-mail requests. If all of those mail-in ballots are returned, the Republican candidate will be behind by 3 to 1 when the polls open. That’s a huge disadvantage to overcome. I can pull this information for any district in the county, and the Republican candidate is at a similar disadvantage.
In the Palm Beach County primary election last month, 75% of the votes were cast by mail. If the same thing happens in November, many of our candidates will be too far behind to win before the polls open. We need to get our vote-by-mail numbers up!
Please help us put a mail-in ballot in every Republican hand! Share this with your Republican neighbors, co-workers, family, church and synagogue members and other people who might be less likely to vote in person, but would vote Republican if we put a ballot in their hands. That’s what the Democrats do, so let’s do it too. Please help us put ballots in as many Republican hands as possible! We NEED to win big in November. A mail-in ballot is a paper ballot that can be hand counted in a re-count. It is tracked, and you can see online that your vote was counted. (I will gladly look it up for anyone who can’t go online and do it.)
It takes 2 minutes to request vote-by-mail. Go to www.votepalmbeach.gov/Voters/Vote-By-Mail or call the Supervisor of Elections office at (561) 656-6208. You only need your name, street address and the last 4 of your social security number. You can still vote in person if you want to.
After you request your vote-by-mail, please email, call or text 10 Republican friends and make sure they request vote-by-mail too. If everyone just got 10 people to request it, we might be ahead when the polls open, instead of behind. We need to work together and we need to work FAST! Please do it today! All of our candidates are counting on us! Please do it NOW, before you forget!
Sincerely,
Jenniffer Lee
