Palm Beach County Grand Jury Oversight Committee

The Palm Beach County Grand Jury Oversight Committee works to restore and safeguard the natural, constitutional, and historical authority of grand juries. The Oversight Committee’s goal is to ensure grand juries function as intended, as independent bodies serving the interests of the People.

The Oversight Committee wants to make sure all grand juries are: 1) Lawfully selected, in accordance with established procedures. 2) Properly instructed, fully informed of their powers, duties, and responsibilities. 3) Equipped with essential resources to conduct comprehensive and impartial investigations. 4) Free from improper influence or interference in their deliberations and decisions.

The Oversight Committee affirms the grand jury’s right and duty to independently investigate crime and corruption, free from undue interference. The Palm Beach County Grand Jury Oversight Committee has a profound respect for the rule of law and the constitutional principles upon which our Republic stands.
